Indoor Cycling App Cost Per Year: Calculator

Published Updated By SmartBikeWiki editorial

Compiled from official docs and public sources, checked .

A year of Zwift is $199.99 on the annual plan ($239.88 if you pay monthly), TrainerRoad $209.99, Wahoo SYSTM (Pro tier) $179.99, ROUVY EUR 179.99, and MyWhoosh is free. The annual plan only wins if you ride for 10 or 11 months; below that, monthly is cheaper. Pick your apps and months below.

Totals are our arithmetic from the vendors’ listed prices, checked 29 September 2026. The 36-month figure assumes three annual terms with no price rise, which no vendor promises.

What the cheapest plan mix means

The calculator buys full years on the annual plan, then covers the leftover months with whichever is cheaper: monthly payments or one more annual term. So a 14-month rider pays one annual term plus two monthly payments, and a 22-month rider pays one annual term plus ten monthly payments or a second annual term, whichever costs less. It does not model refunds, discounts, student pricing or regional pricing.

What the price does not include

  • Trials and refunds. Zwift lists a 14-day free trial on the monthly plan and a 30-day refund window on the annual plan; ROUVY lists 7 days; Wahoo lists 14 days of Pro; TrainerRoad lists a 30-day money-back guarantee instead of a trial. A short first trial is a reason to start monthly and switch.
  • Free tiers. MyWhoosh states it is free to play; its optional subscription raises the number of custom-workout slots, and its price was not on the pages we read. ROUVY lists a free tier of 20 km a month. Wahoo’s Base tier is free, and its Core tier ($4.99 a month or $49.99 a year) leaves out the SYSTM library.
  • Currency. ROUVY’s page showed euros only, so its totals are in euros and never added to dollar totals.
  • Price changes. Vendors change prices, and no vendor promises a multi-year price. Treat any multi-year total as a floor, not a forecast.
  • Hardware. None of these includes a trainer or bike; see cheap smart trainers under $500 and smart bike vs trainer total cost.

Which app, not just which price

The calculator answers cost only. For what each app does, use the Zwift, TrainerRoad, MyWhoosh and ROUVY comparison; for the free-versus-paid question, Zwift vs MyWhoosh.
