Privacy policy

This policy explains what SmartBikeWiki collects when you visit the site and how it is used.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic: pages visited, referral source and general device type. It is not tied to your identity.

Affiliate click counts

Affiliate links go through a redirect on this site. We record the time, the page you clicked from (path only), your country and a device class (mobile, tablet or desktop). We do not store your IP address and we set no cookie for this. The retailer's own cookies apply once you reach their site.

Theme preference

If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is stored in your browser's local storage on your device only.
